Installation Instructions

Here are the steps to install your hottubmanager. If you require assistance please email sales@hottubmanager.co.uk

To install:

  • Switch off your hot tub pump at the mains and ensure the display shows nothing.
  • Remove the 6 screws on the top of your hot tub pump unit.
  • Gently lift the panel up, careful there is a wire attaching it.
  • Locate the connector underneath the panel and unclip it (push the plastic clip to release it)
  • Connect the hottubmanager unit inbetween the panel and the base, the connectors match either side.
  • Ensure the connectors click fully in to place.
  • With the hottubmanager unit still visible (do not replace cover) you can now switch power back on to confirm the hottubmanager unit is working.

Now the configuration of the unit:
On the hottubmanager unit there are two lights:
  RED = processing data correctly, will slowly flash during normal operation
  WHITE = WiFi connection.

White light constantly on means the unit is in setup mode to configure your wifi.
On your phone/laptop search for a wifi name "HOTTUB-Access-Point".
Connect to this. You should be asked to sign-in, if not then visit http://192.168.1.1

You will be asked for SSID (Your wifi name) and Password (to your wifi). Enter these and press SAVE.

You can now disconnect from this wifi network. (Once set this wifi network will disappear)

The unit will now reboot and you should see the white light flash then go out. This confirms the unit has connected to your wifi correctly.
  • Now screw the control panel back in place on your hot tub unit.


If you see the white light back up solid then the unit could not connect to your wifi so you need to do the process again, ensure you have a wifi signal where you have the unit installed.

During normal operation the RED light will flash consistently and you will see the white led flicker when data is being sent over wifi, this is normal operation.

Troubleshooting -
q) White LED on solid
a) The white light shows that the unit does not have a wifi signal. Connect to "HOTTUB-Access-Point" and setup your wifi details

q) No lights show when Hot Tub is powered on/working
a) The unit is not receiving power. Switch off at mains and check all connections are secure.

q) Red light on solid
a) If the red light stays lit constantly then the unit has faulted. Please power off your hot tub for 2 minutes to reset
